The contract referred to in Paragraphs One and 2 of this Article shall be terminated within a period not exceeding one (1) year from the date the leader starts to assume his/her office or from the date of publication of this Organic Law in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Rwanda for a leader who is already in office.
