About this statute

This Law governs civil aviation. This article defines key terms used in the Law. This provision says the Law applies to specified civil aviation persons, aircraft, activities, airports, routes, and navigation services. Rwanda has full and irrevocable sovereignty over the airspace above its territory. Some non-permanent flights may enter Rwanda’s airspace, pass through without landing, or land briefly if non-commercial; security rules can require prescribed routes or prior special authorization.
