by Decree-Law 7 signifie internationale » (a) « Convention relative à l’aviation la civile Convention relative à l’aviation civile internationale signée à Chicago le 07 décembre 1944, telle que ratifiée par la Loi du 30/04/1947 et ses Protocoles ratifiés par le Décret-Loi du 07/04/1976 ; umutungo (e) « icyemezo cy’ubwikorezi bwo mu kirere » bivuga icyemezo cyemerera umuntu gukora imirimo y’ubwikorezi bwo mu kirere; Official Gazette n° Special of 24/07/2024 (b) “ search” means an operation, normally coordinated by a rescue rescue coordination subcentre, using available personnel and facilities to locate persons in distress; centre or (c) “ air transport service” means domestic or international service for the carriage of passengers and goods by air; (b) « recherche » signifie une opération, normalement coordonnée par un centre de coordination de sauvetage ou un centre secondaire de sauvetage, faisant appel au personnel et aux moyens disponibles pour localiser des personnes en détresse ; (c) « service de transport aérien » signifie le service national ou international de transport aérien de passagers et de biens; (d) “dangerous goods” means substances or articles which are capable of posing a risk to health, safety, property or the environment and which are shown in the list of dangerous goods in the technical instructions or which are classified as those according instructions; such to les (d) « marchandises dangereuses » signifie des matières ou des objets pouvant constituer un risque pour la santé, la sécurité, pour l’environnement et énumérés sur la liste des marchandises dangereuses dans les instructions classés comme tels, conformément à ces instructions ; techniques ou biens ou (e) “ air operator certificate ” means a certificate authorising an operator to carry out air transport operations; (e) « permis d’exploitation aérienne » signifie un permis autorisant un exploitant à effectuer des activités de transport aérien; 8 (f) « igice gikorerwamo ishakisha n’ubutabazi » bivuga igice gifite zizwi gifitwe n’Ihuriro imbibi Mpuzabikorwa ry’Ubutabazi gitangirwamo serivisi z’ishakisha n’ubutabazi; Official Gazette n° Special of 24/07/2024 (f) “ search and rescue region ” means an area of defined dimensions, associated Rescue with Coordination Centre, within which search and rescue services are provided; guhuza byo gutabara responsible (g) “ Rescue Coordination Centre ” means a unit for promoting efficient organisation of search and rescue services and for coordinating the conduct of search and rescue operations within a search and rescue region; (i) “Authority” means the national in charge of civil institution aviation; (j) « indege » bivuga imashini ishobora igahangana ingufu gutembera mu kirere n’ingufu z’umwuka zitari umwuka wo mu kirere ugira ku isi; for (n) “ investigation” means a process conducted the purpose of accident prevention which includes the gathering and analysis of information, of the conclusions on accident or incident, including the determination of causes and contributing factors and, when appropriate, the making of safety recommendations; drawing 10 (l) « aéronef de l’État » signifie un aéronef utilisé par le Chef de l’État et celui utilisé dans des services militaires, de douane ou de police ; (m) « déclaration » signifie le tout ou partie d’une déclaration verbale, écrite ou enregistrée se rapportant à un accident ou incident d’aéronef et remise par son auteur à l’enquêteur ; (n) « enquête » signifie un processus mené à des fins de prévention des accidents qui comprend la collecte et l’analyse des des informations, conclusions sur l’ accident ou l’incident, y compris la détermination des causes et le cas des facteurs contributifs et, des formulation la échéant, recommandations de sécurité ; (w) “rescue” means an operation to retrieve persons in distress, provide for their initial medical care or other needs and bring them to safety; an organisation, (x) “person” includes an individual, a an company, institution, an association, a group of associations or representatives of such those companies; associations and (w) «sauvetage» signifie une opération destinée à récupérer des personnes en détresse, à les soins leur donner médicaux initiaux ou autres et à les mettre en lieu sûr ; (x) «personne» comprend une personne physique, une société commerciale, une organisation, un établissement, une association, un collectif des associations ou des représentants de ces associations et des sociétés commerciales ; (y) “ Director General” means the Director General of the national institution in charge of civil aviation; (y) «Directeur Général» signifie le l’institution Directeur Général de nationale ayant l’aviation civile dans ses attributions ; (z) “investigator-in-charge” means a person, on the basis of his or her the qualifications, organisation, conduct and control of an investigation; is charge of (z) « enquêteur désigné » signifie une la base de ses personne, qui, sur qualifications, de est l’organisation, de la conduite et du contrôle d’une enquête ;
