Statute overview

About this statute

This Order sets the rules for deposit court fees, court fees, and other fees in civil, commercial, social, and administrative matters. Court fees for certain cases must be paid in fixed amounts by court level, paid into the Public Treasury, and are not refundable; some child-rights and sexual-violence actions are exempt. If the paying party wins, the losing party must refund the court fees and the judge sets the payment time. If payment is late, the losing party owes 4% per day on the amount due. Court fees referred to in Article 2 must be paid when a main proceeding is brought or when appeal procedures are used. The court must tell the parties the account number where the deposit court fees and court fees must be paid, and the proof of payment must be placed in the case file.
