About this statute

Each school establishment must be under a doctor’s health control, and pupils and teaching staff must also be medically supervised. The school doctor is entitled to access all premises of school establishments under their control. The school doctor must examine pupils, inspect school premises, oversee measures for contagious diseases, and supervise diet in boarding schools. Doctors responsible for school hygiene must report annually, or more often if needed, to the provincial hygiene service director about the sanitary condition of the school establishments they supervise.
