The Elections Act is hereby amended by inserting immediately after section 4 the following as section 4A — “Advisory or technical committee 4A.(1) Notwithstanding any provisions of this Act, the Electoral Commission may establish advisory or technical committees, as it deems necessary for the purpose of assisting the Electoral Commission in the performance of its functions under this Act and the Constitution of the Republic of Seychelles, Cap. 42. (2) The name, composition, mandate and proceedings of committees established under subsection (1) shall be such as may be prescribed.”
