Abolition of Public Administration Commissions Act

1. The Public Service Commission established by section 209(1) of the Constitution 5 of the Republic of South Africrq 1993 (Act No. 200 of 1993), and the provincial service commissions established by the Provincial Service Commission Act, 1994 (Act No. 1 of 1994 of Northern Province), the North West Provincial Service Commission Act, 1994 (Act No. 2 of 1994 of North-West), the Provincial Service Commission Act, 1994 (Act No. 3 of 1994 of Free State), the Northern Cape Provincial Sesvice Commission Act, 10 1994 (Act No. 3 of 1994 of Northern Cape), the Provincial Service Commission Act (Eastern Transvaal), 1994 (Act No. 3 of 1994 of Mpumalanga), the Provincial Service Commission Act, 1994 (Act No. 3 of 1994 of Gauteng), the Western Cape Provincial Service Commission Law, 1994 (Act No. 5 of 1994 of Western Cape), the Provincial Service Commission Act, 1994 (Eastern Cape) (Act No. 5 of 1994 of Eastern Cape) and 15 the KwaZulu-NTatal Provincial Service Commission Act, 1994 (Act No. 6 of 1994 of KwaZul~Tatd), are hereby abolished. 2. This Act shall be called the Abolition of Public Administration Commissions Act, 1997, and shall come into operation on a date fixed by the President by proclamation in 20 the Gazette. ———.—.——. — —
