About this statute

The Treasury is linked to an electronic process for considering applications to purchase foreign currency and for making approval or refusal information available in document form. This section amends the Insolvency Act definition of “market participant.” The Minister may delegate certain powers, appoint acting or temporary magistrates and other competent persons in specified cases, and set remuneration with the Minister of Finance’s concurrence; section 9bis is repealed. This provision amends section 114 of the Magistrates' Courts Act, 1944 by deleting subsection (4). Section 7E is amended so that Sections 7A to 7D apply to all funds registered on or after 12 months after commencement of the Pension Funds Amendment Act, 1996.
