The Act, including all amendments, applies to the affected area. All regulations and notices made or issued by the Minister in terms of the Act are extended to the affected area. If there is a conflict, the Act and the specified regulations and notices prevail over earlier laws or other measures with the force of law that applied in the affected area before the Constitution commenced. This section states the short title of the Act.
