National Supplies Procurement Amendment Act

1. Section I of the National Supplies Procurement Act, 1970 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), is hereby amended by the substitution for the definition of "Minister" of the following definition: - " 'Minister' means the Minister of [Economic Affairs and Technology I Trade and · Industry.". 5 Amendment of section 12 of Act 89 of 1970, as amended by section 19 of Act 63 of 10 1973, section 3 of Act 31 of 1982 and section 4'of Act 25 of 1988 .. 2. Section 12 of the principal Act is hereby amended by the substitution for subsection - . , (4) of the following subsection: . · ''' ' "(4) A banking 'account shall be opened for the fund with [the South' African . . , . . Reserve Bank] any bank as defined in section I of the Banks Act, 1990 {Act No. 15 94 of 1990).". c": Short title

3. This Act shall be called the National Supplies Procurement Amendment Act, 1995.
