Interception and Monitoring Prohibition Amendment Act

1. Section 1 ofthe Interception and Monitoring Prohibition Act, 1992, is hereby 5 amended by the substitution for the definition of "judge" of the following definition: " 'judge' means any judge of any provincial or local division of the Supreme Court of South Africa including any judge discharged from active service under section 3 of the Judges' Remuneration and 10 Conditions of Employment Act, 1989 (Act No. 88 of 1989), and any retired judge, who is designated by the Minister of Justice to perform the functions of a judge within ll particular division for the purposes of this Act;". · · Short title 15

2. This Act shall be called the Interception and Monitoring Prohibition Amendment Act, 1995.
