This provision amends section 5 of the Electoral Act, 1993 to update who is represented on party liaison committees. This section amends section 13 of the principal Act by replacing two specified election-agent terms. The Commission must publish election-registration notices and decide objections and applications within set time limits; objections must be lodged in writing within short deadlines. The Chief Director must publish a notice in the Gazette within three days after the relevant 28-day or 34-day period ends. Registered parties must file candidate lists with the Chief Director within the stated post-proclamation period, and late documents will not be accepted after 16:30 on the final day.
