“This provision amends section 1 of the Employment Equity Act by changing and adding definitions, including “National Minimum Wage Commission,” “people with disabilities,” and “sector,” and deleting the definition of “serve” or “submit.””
This provision amends section 1 of the Employment Equity Act by changing and adding definitions, including “National Minimum Wage Commission,” “people with disabilities,” and “sector,” and deleting the definition of “serve” or “submit.” This section amends several definitions in the Employment Equity Act and deletes the definition of “korhoka” or “rhumela”. This section only identifies an amendment to section 8 of the Employment Equity Act. This provision amends section 8 of the principal Act by changing the wording of paragraphs (b) and (c), deleting paragraph (d), and refers to repeal of section 14 of Act 55 of 1998. Section 14 of the principal Act is repealed, and section 15A is inserted into Act 55 of 1998.
