This section amends Section 2 of the Eskom Debt Relief Act, 2023 by changing a 2025/26 amount to R80,233 billion, adding R10 billion for 2028/29, and deleting subsection (3).

1. Section 2 of the Eskom Debt Relief Act, 2023, is hereby amended— (a) by the deletion of ‘‘and’’ at the end of paragraph (b) of subsection (1); (b) by the substitution for paragraph (c) of subsection (1) of the following para- 5 graph: ‘‘(c) [R40] R80,233 billion for the 2025/26 ﬁnancial year[.]; and’’; (c) by the addition to subsection (1) of the following paragraph: ‘‘(d) R10 billion for the 2028/29 ﬁnancial year.’’; and (d) by the deletion of subsection (3). 10 Short title
