This section amends section 1 of the Skills Development Act, 1998 by changing several definitions and adding new ones. This provision amends section 2 of the principal Act by deleting certain paragraphs and subparagraphs and by inserting and deleting words in subsection (2)(a). Section 3 is amended by replacing paragraph (b) with wording referring to the objects of the NQF Act. This amendment says subsection (1)(a)(iv) does not apply to regulations where the Minister must consult the QCTO or Productivity South Africa.
