About this statute

This Act amends the Carriage by Air Act, 1946, and is published after presidential assent. This section amends the Carriage by Air Act, 1946 by adding two definitions. Section 2 of the principal Act is repealed. The Minister may publish Gazette notices declaring the States Parties to the Convention and the territories they cover. The court may also make just and equitable orders in passenger-death liability cases. Section 4 of the principal Act is repealed.
