(1) Subject to the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999), an amount of R2 billion (two billion rand) is hereby appropriated out of the National Revenue Fund for the requirements of the Department of Public Enterprises in respect of the 200Y06 financial year. 5 (2) The money contemplated in subsection (1) must be transferred to DENEL (Pty) Ltd for the recapitalisation of the entity and to assist DENEL (Pty) Ltd to restructure and 10 refocus its business.
