Statute overview
About this statute
This provision amends the Nonprofit Organisations Act, 1997 by deleting subsection (2) of section 6. The Minister must maintain a panel of at least seven arbitrators, appoint a chairperson, and follow a notice-and-consultation process when appointing panel members. This section amends section 24 so paragraph 5(2)(c) now covers nonprofit organisations that deregistered voluntarily, were wound up, or dissolved during the previous financial year. This section amends section 25 by replacing paragraph (a) in subsection 10(1). This section amends Section 34 so that an organisation contemplated in paragraph (a) must apply to be registered under the Act.
