§ 1Subject to the provisions of the Post Office Act, 1958 (Act No. 44 of 1958), and theShort title

The provision appropriates R5 million to the Human Resources Fund and R10 million to the Universal Service Fund, subject to the listed Acts and for the 1997/1998 financial year.

1. Subject to the provisions of the Post Office Act, 1958 (Act No. 44 of 1958), and the Telecommunications Act, 1996 (Act No. 103 of 1996), there is hereby appropriated, out of the Post Office Fund, in respect of the ﬁnancial year ending 31 March 1998, as a charge to the Post Office Account, for the requirements of— (a) (b) the Human Resources Fund, an amount of R5 million to be utilised for the purposes prescribed by section 79 of the Telecommunications Act, 1996, in addition to the amount of R3 million appropriated in the Post Office Appropriation Act, 1997 (Act No. 2 of 1997); and the Universal Service Fund, an amount of R10 million to be utilised for the purposes prescribed by section 66 of the Telecommunications Act, 1996, in addition to the amount of R3 million appropriated in the Post Office Appropriation Act, 1997. 5 10 15 Short title
