About this statute
The Commission must choose one of its members as Vice Chair, and the Vice Chair must remain a member while serving. Mjumbe wa Tume anatumikia kwa miaka mitatu, anaweza kujiuzulu kwa taarifa ya maandishi, na anaweza kuondolewa au kuchukuliwa kuwa amekoma kuwa mjumbe chini ya masharti yaliyotajwa. The Commission’s validity and proceedings are not affected by a vacancy among members or a defect in appointing a member. The Commission Secretary must attend all meetings and must not vote in those meetings. The Commission must meet at least four times a year. The Chairman may call special meetings, and must call one within six weeks after a proper written request or when directed by the Minister.
