This section says the Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act, 2026. The Act says its terms have the meanings given in the Public Finance Act and the Budget Act, and it states an issuance of Shs. 62,334,193,227,800 out of the Consolidated Fund. The Treasury may take money from the Consolidated Fund and use it for the year ending 30 June 2027, up to Shillings 62,334,193,227,800. The sum granted under section 3 must be appropriated for the purposes and amounts listed in the Schedule. The Minister may borrow money up to a stated maximum amount, inside or outside Tanzania, and may secure it against United Republic assets, but only up to 30 June 2027.
