THE URBAN PLANNING (SCHEME OF REGULARISATION -ZAMBIA) ORDER 2022

1. This Order may be cited as the Urban Planning (Scheme of Regularisation - Zambia) Order, 2022. Declaration of planning area Cap.355

2. The area described in the Schedule to this Order is hereby declared to be a planning area (scheme of regularisation) for the purposes of the Urban Planning Act. Scheme of scheduled area

NO.270 (Contd.) ________ SCHEDULE ________ (Made under paragraph 2) The planning area is contained in the following boundaries: “Commencing at a point with coordinates 695627E, 8751500N at the Nyasa lakeshore, thence the boundary moves Southward direction along Lake Nyasa for a distance of 0.15 kilometres to point with coordinates 695607.979E, 8751351.542N, thence in Eastward direction along Lake Nyasa for a distance of 0.735 kilometres to a point with coordinates 696286.866E, 8751346.524N where River Mpumbwa meet Lake Nyasa, thence in South-East direction along River Mpumbwa for a distance of 0.432 kilometres to a point with coordinates 696520.889 E, 8751088.280N where Mpumbwa river and Mbinga-Liuli road meet, thence in Sout-East direction along Mbinga - Liuli road for a distance of 0.827 kilometres to a point with coordinates 696806.443E, 8750361.692N, thence in South-West direction on a bearing S140 18’ 31’’W for a distance of 0.208 kilometres to the bottom of Mbamba Mountain with coordinates 696755E, 8750160N, thence in Noth-West direction along the bottom of Mbamba mountain for a distance of 2.246 kilometres to a point with coordinates 695000 E, 8750873.408N, thence in Northward direction for a distance of 0.194 kilometres to a point with coordinates 695000 E, 8751067.190N, thence in North-East direction for a distance of 0.556 kilometres along Lake Nyasa to a point with coordinates 695243.251E, 8751500N, thence in Eastward direction for a distance of 0.384 kilometres to the point of commencement.”.
