THE ELECTRICITY (HUSK POWER SYSTEM LIMITED) (HUSK POWER) (TARIFF ADJUSTMENT FOR ELECTRICITY SERVICE) ORDER, 2022

1. This Order may be cited as the Electricity (Husk Power System Limited) (Husk Power) (Tariff Adjustment for Electricity Service) Order, 2022.

2. Husk Powers System Limited tariffs are as specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby approved.

3. This Order is issued under the following conditions: (a) on or before 31st March, 2023, Husk Power System Limited shall submit a Business Plan that incorporates the approved tariffs and the plan shall include expansion plan to serve the current demand and prospective customers; (b) on or before 30th June 2023, Husk Power System Limited shall prepare and submit to the Authority for approval its Customer Service Charter; (c) Husk Power System Limited shall ensure availability of service in 24 hours; (d) on or before 31st March, 2023, Husk Power System Limited shall modify its billing system to ensure purchase of electricity is done in unit per shillings and customer should be able to view consumption; (e) on or before 31st March, 2023, Husk Power System, should ensure all defective customer 1 Electricity (Husk Power System Limited) (Husk Power) (Tariff Adjustment For Electricity Service) GN.. NO. 646 (Contd) replaced and ensure meters have been availability of the same for future use; and (f) on quarterly basis, Husk Power Systeam Limited shall provide Energy and Water Utilities with information about its financial and operating condition in accordance with the requirements of Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory.
