THE ENERGY AND WATER UTILITIES REGULATORY AUTHORITY (MBULU WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION AUTHORITY (MBULU WSSA)) (TARIFF ADJUSTMENT FORWATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION SERVICES) ORDER, 2022

1. This Order may be cited as the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (Mbulu Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (Mbulu WSSA)) (Tariff Adjustment for Water Supply and Sanitation Services) Order, 2022. Tariffs and charges

2. Mbulu WSSA tariffs and fees are hereby adjusted as specified in the First Schedule to this Order. Conditions

3.-(1) The approved tariffs shall be subject to the following conditions: (a) three months after the publication of the tariff Order, Mbulu WSSA shall provide evidence to EWURA that it has notified its customers of the tariff order and has conducted an intensive awareness to her stakeholders including customers, government and political 1 Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (Mbulu Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (Mbulu Wssa)) (Tariff Adjustment for Water Supply and Sanitation Services) GN. NO. 717 (Contd.) leaders and religious representatives, among others; (b) on or before 31st December 2022, Mbulu WSSA shall submit a revised Business Plan that incorporates the approved tariffs and the action plan conditions of this Order; implementation of for (c) Mbulu WSSA shall implement projects as detailed in Second Schedule by using funds generated from the approved tariffs and fees; (d) Mbulu WSSA shall attain key performance indicators as shown in the Third Schedule; (e) Mbulu WSSA shall ensure all customer connections are metered by 30th June 2023; (f) Mbulu WSSA shall prepare and implement a customer outreach program and submit to implementation EWURA evidence of annually; its (g) Mbulu WSSA shall ensure her financial statements are audited by the Controller and Auditor General and submit reports of audited financial statements to EWURA each year; and (h) Mbulu WSSA shall liaise with Mbulu Town Council to acquire land for the construction of wastewater treatment facilities by 30th June 2023.
