1. the Excise This Order may be cited as (Management and Tariff) (Remission) (Improvement of Transport Capacity in Dar es Salaam Phase 1&2) (Bandari & Gerezani Road Section) (Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Company Limited) Order, 2020 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 24th day of January, 2019.

Excise duty on the specified fuel is remitted for M/S Sumitomo Mitsui, Construction Company Limited, subject to paragraph 3 and any conditions set by the Commissioner.

2. Subject to the conditions specified in paragraph 3 of this Order, and any other conditions as may be prescribed by the Commissioner, the whole of excise duty payable on the fuel specified in the Schedule to this Order, imported or purchased locally prior to clearance through customs by or on behalf of M/S Sumitomo Mitsui, Construction Company Limited to be used solely by M/S Sumitomo Mitsui, Construction Company Limited in the Improvement of Transport Capacity in Dar es Salaam Phase 1&2 (Bandari & Gerezani Road Section) project is hereby remitted.

The remission granted under this Order shall cease

The remission stops if the fuel is used for another purpose or transferred to someone not entitled to the same privilege, and excise duty then becomes payable.

3.
