THE MAKETE WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION AUTHORITY ("MAKETE WSSA") TARIFF ADJUSTMENT ORDER, 2020

1. This Order shall be cited as the Makete Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (“Makete WSSA”) (Tariff Adjustment for Water Supply and Sanitation Services) Order, 2020. Commencement date

The approved tariff shall be subject to the following conditions: (a) prior to the implementation of new tariff, Makete WSSA shall provide evidence to EWURA that it has notified its customers of the new tariff order and it has conducted an intensive awareness to its customers including, Government and political leaders found in their area of services. (b) Makete WSSA shall meter all kiosk customers; (c) MaketeWSSA shall attain key performance indicators as shown in the Second Schedule; (d) Makete WSSA comply with the provision of the section 43 of the EWURA Act, and rule 6 of 1 Cap. 414 GN.193 of 2010 Makete Water Supply and Sanitation Authority ("Makete Wssa") Tariff Adjustment GN NO. 822 (Conted) the EWURA Procedure) Rules,; (Fees and Levies Collection (e) on or before 31stDecember2020, Makete WSSA shall submit a revised Business Plan (2020/21- 2022/23) that incorporates the approved tariffs and include all projects that were planned for implementation but could not be undertaken due to tariff cut.
