The Forest (Intention to De-Reserve Iringa Territorial Forest Reserve) Notice, 2021

1. This Notice may be cited as the Forest (Intention to De-Reserve Iringa Terretorial Forest Reserves) Notice, 2021.

2. The Purpose for de-reserving Iringa Territorial Forest Reserves set out in the schedule to this Notice is to undertake Government intention to use that Forest Reserve for other activities. Period of time

3. This Notice shall be valid for ninety (90) days from the date of publication within which any person or group of persons or a representative thereof may, in writing: (i) object to; (ii) make representations; or claim any rights based on, and or arising out of any law in relation to land or forest produce or any rights based on any other law. NO. 569 (Contd.) ______ SCHEDULE ______ (Made under paragraph 2) DESCRIPTIONS OF DE-RESERVED FOREST RESERVE Iringa Territorial Forest Reserve Approximate area: 550 acres Boundaries – All the area of land situated in the Iringa District beside the Great North Road about four and a half miles north of Iringa, as delineated and defined by a table of boundary angles and distances on Survey Plan No. Jb. 148 deposited with the Department of Lands and Surveys. The approximate boundaries are as follows- South: From beacon No. 1 situated on Mawelewele Hill, by a cut and beaconed line in a south – westly direction along the crest of a range of hills and passing through beacons Nos. 2 and 3 to beacon No. 4 which is situated on the Great North Road. West: From beacon No. 4 along the Great North Road in the direction of Dodoma to beacon No. 5 North and East: From beacon No. 5 by a cut and cleared line on a true bearing of 107 for approximately 2,200 yards to beacon No. 1, the point of commencement.
