THE CONTRACTORS REGISTRATION (AMENDMENT) BY-LAWS, 2022

1. These By-Laws may be cited as the Contractors Registration (Amendment) By-Laws, 2022 and shall be read as one with the Contractors Registration By-Laws hereinafter referred to as the “principal By-Laws”.

2. The principal By-Laws are amended in paragraph 7 by deleting subparagraph (2) and substituting for it the following: “(2) Classification of Specialist Contractors shall be as specified in the Third Schedule to these By- Laws”

3. The principal By-Laws are amended in paragraph 10 by- (a) deleting paragraph (1) and substituting for it the following: 1 Contractors Registration (Amendment) By-Laws Tangazo la seriakli na. 744 (linaendelea) the “(1) The criteria for determination of appropriate class for registration as a contractor shall be as specified in the Fourth Schedule to these By- Laws.” (b) adding immediately after subparagraph (2) the following: “(3) Subject to subparagraph (2), in assessing the score to be attained for consideration of appropriate class of registration to be awarded to specialists contractors, the weighted marking sheet as specified in the Sixth Schedule to these By-Laws shall be used.” (c) renumbering subparagraph (3) as subparagraph (4).

4.
