This Order may be cited by its full title and is deemed to have come into operation on 9 July 2020.

1. This Order may be cited as the Value Added Tax (Exemption) (Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health Program (RSSH))(Supply and Fitting of Tyres and Seat Covers) (Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children) (M/s Benphil Enterprises) Order, 2020 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 09th day of July, 2020.

§ 2SubjectProvision

VAT on the listed goods is exempt for purchases made by or for the Ministry of Health for the RSSH project, if the stated conditions are met.

2. Subject to the conditions specified in paragraph 3 of this Order, and any other conditions as may be specified by the Commissioner, the whole of the Value Added Tax payable on the goods specified in the Schedule to this Order locally purchased by or on behalf of Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children to be used solely in the project for Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health Program (RSSH)) is hereby exempt. Conditions

§ 3The exemption granted under this OrderProvision

The tax exemption stops if the goods or services are used for other purposes, or sold or disposed of to someone who is not entitled to the same privileges. VAT then becomes due and payable as if the exemption had never been granted.
