§ 1This Order may be cited as the Road and FuelCommencement

This provision gives the Order its short citation name and says it is deemed to have come into operation on 28 December 2022.

1. This Order may be cited as the Road and Fuel and Tolls (Construction, Commissioning Water Supply Schemes at HTM National Water Project Area & Korogwe, Muheza and Pangani Towns (Package-I) (M/S JWIL Infra Limited) Order, 2023 and shall be deemed to have come in operation on the 28th day of December 2022. Testing

§ 2Subject to the conditions specified in paragraphProvision

M/s JWIL Infra Limited is exempted from the road and fuel tolls on specified fuel, subject to listed conditions.

2. Subject to the conditions specified in paragraph 3, and any other conditions as may be specified by the Commissioner General of Tanzania Revenue Authority, the whole of the road and fuel tolls payable on fuel specified in the Schedule to this Order, imported or purchased locally prior to clearance through customs by or on behalf of M/s JWIL Infra Limited to be used solely in the Construction, Testing and Commissioning Water Supply Schemes at HTM National Water Project Area & Korogwe, Muheza and Pangani Towns, Package-I is hereby exempted. Conditions

§ 3The exemption granted under this Order shallProvision

The exemption ends if the fuel is used for another purpose or is transferred, sold, or otherwise disposed of to someone who is not similarly entitled; then the road and fuel tolls become payable.

3. The exemption granted under this Order shall cease to have effect and the road and fuel tolls shall become due and payable as if this Order had not been made where the said fuel are used for other purposes or 1 Road and Fuel Tolls (Exemption) (Construction, Testing and Commissioning Water Supply Schemes at Htm National Water Project Area & Korogwe, Muheza and Pangani Towns) (Package-I (M/S Jwil Infra Limited) GN. NO.54 (Contd.) are transferred, sold or disposed of in any way to another person not entitled to enjoy similar privileges conferred under this Order. Expiry
