1. This Order may be cited as the Excise (Management and Tariff) (Remission) (Construction of Sewer Network, Gravity Mains, Pump Stations, Transmission Main, Wastewater Treatment Plant, On-site Sanitation Facilities, Supply of Vehicles, Machines, Laboratory Equipment, Operation and Maintenance Equipment for Musoma Municipality) (M/S China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation) Order, 2023 and shall be deemed to have come in operation on 20th day of March, 2023.

2. Subject to the conditions specified in paragraph 3, and any other conditions as may be specified by the Commissioner General of Tanzania Revenue Authority, the whole of the excise duty payable on fuel and lubricants specified in the Schedule to this Order imported or purchased locally prior to clearance through customs by or on behalf of M/S China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation for Construction of Sewer Network, Gravity 1 Excise (Management and Tariff) (Remission) (Construction of Sewer Network, Gravity Mains, Pump Stations, Transmission Main, Waste Water Treatment Plant, On-Site Sanitation Facilities, Supply of Vehicles, Machines, Laboratory Equipment, Operation and Maintenance Equipment for Musoma Municipality) (M/S China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation) GN. NO. 392 (Contd.) Conditions Mains, Pump Stations, Transmission Main, Wastewater Treatment Plant, On-site Sanitation Facilities, Supply of Vehicles, Machines, Laboratory Equipment, Operation and Maintenance Equipment for Musoma Municipality project is here by remitted.

3. The remission granted under this Order shall cease to have effect and the excise duty shall become due and payable as if this Order had not been made if the said fuel and lubricants are used for other purposes or are transferred, sold or disposed of in any way to another person not entitled to enjoy similar privileges as conferred under this Order.
