The Environmental Management (Prohibition of Plastic Carrier Bags and Plastic Bottle Cap Seal (Amendment) Regulations, 2023

1. These Regulations may be cited as The Environmental Management (Prohibition of Plastic Carrier Bags and Plastic Bottle Cap Seal (Amendment) Regulations, 2023 and shall be read as one with the (Prohibition of Plastic Environmental Management Carrier Bags and Bottle Cap Seal) Regulations, 2022 hereinafter referred to as the “principal Regulations.”

2. The principal Regulations are amended in regulation 32 by- (a) designating the content of regulation 32 as 32(1); and (b) adding immediately after subregulation (1) as designated, the following: “(2) An appeal under subregulation (1) shall be made by way of a letter stating the grounds of appeal accompanied with the decision of the Council and any other necessary documents as the Minister may require after receiving the appeal. 1 Environment Management (Prohibition of Plastic Carrier Bags and Bottle Cap Seal) GN.
