These Regulations may be cited as the Mining

This section gives the short title of the regulations and says they are to be read together with the 2022 Mining (State Participation) Regulations.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Mining (State Participation) (Amendment) Regulations, 2023, and shall be read as one with the Mining (State Participation) Regulations, 2022 hereinafter referred to as the “Principal Regulations.”

A mining company or applicable licence holder must comply with these Regulations, or it will be in default and subject to section 63 of the Act.

13. A mining company or a person holding a licence to whom these Regulations are applicable, who fails to these comply with provisions of Regulations, shall be in default and subjected to the provisions of section 63 of the Act.” Renumbering
