The Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (the Inquiry on Multi-Year Tariff Application by Kigoma Water Supply and Sanitation Authority) (Kigoma WSSA) Notice, 2023

1. This Notice may be cited as the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (the Inquiry on Multi-Year Tariff Application by Kigoma Water Supply and Sanitation Authority) (Kigoma WSSA) Notice, 2023.

2. In this Notice, unless the context otherwise requires- “Authority” means the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority established under the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority Act; “Director General” means the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority; and “inquiry” means the entire process of receiving comments from stakeholders about the proposed multi-year tariffs and fees as prescribed in the First, Second and Third Schedules to this Notice. 4. Kigoma WSSA’s proposal for multi-year tariffs is prescribed in the First, Second and Third Schedules of this Notice. How to participate in inquiry

5. A person who wishes to participate in the inquiry may do so by submitting his written views pertinent to the inquiry to the Director General at the address specified in paragraph 8 within seven days after the date publication of this Notice. Objection Copies of application Address of Authority

6. A person who intends to object the approval of a tariff application shall lodge his objection in writing within five working days from the date of publication of this Notice.

7. -(1) Copies of the applications shall be available at the Authority’s offices during working hours from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm for public knowledge and use. (2) Further details may be obtained upon written request to the Director General at the address shown in paragraph 8.
