The Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (the Inquiry on Multi-Year Tariff Application by Busega Water Supply and Sanitation Authority) (Busega WSSA) Notice, 2023

1. This Notice may be cited as the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (the Inquiry on Multi-Year Tariff Application by Busega Water Supply and Sanitation Authority) (Busega WSSA) Notice, 2023.

2. In this Notice, unless the context otherwise requires- “Authority” means the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority established under the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority Act. “Director General” means the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority; and “inquiry” means receiving the entire process of comments from stakeholders about the proposed multi-year tariffs and fees as prescribed in the First, Second and Third Schedules to this Notices. 4. Busega WSSA’s proposal for multiyear tariffs is presented in the First, Second and Third Schedules of this Notice.

5. A person wishes to participate in the inquiry may do so by submitting his written views pertinent to the inquiry to the Director General at the address specified in paragraph 8 within seven days after the publication of this Notice.

6. A person who intends to object to the approval of a tariff application shall lodge his objection in writing within five working days from the date of the public notice.

7. (1) Copies of the applications shall be available at the Authority’s offices during working hours from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm for public knowledge and use. (2) Further details may be obtained upon written request to the Director General at the address shown in paragraph 8.
