The Presidential Affairs (Institution and Conferment of Honours, Dignities and Awards) (Amendment) Proclamation, 2024

1. This Proclamation may be cited as the Presidential Affairs (Institution and Conferment of Honours, Dignities and Awards) (Amendment) Proclamation, 2024 and shall be read as one with the Presidential Affairs (Institution and Conferment of Honours, Dignities and Awards) Proclamation, 2014, hereinafter referred to as the “principal Proclamation”.

2. The principal Proclamation is amended in the First Schedule- (a) at the end of the Third Column to paragraphs 8, 9, 10 and 18(e) by adding the following: “Case of Medals for the Defence Forces is red leatherette; the Police Force is dark blue leatherette; the Prisons Service is green leatherette; the Fire and Rescue Force is black leatherette; the Immigration is light blue leatherette; the Tanzania Intelligence and Security Service is black leatherette, all with gold blocked lettering.”; (b) in paragraph 18 - (i) by inserting immediately after subparagraph (a) the following: “(aa) Kumbukumbu ya Muungano Former Head of State (alive or deceased) Collar Chain Set manufactured is in 1 Presidential Affairs (Institution and Conferment of Honours, Dignities and Awards) (Amendment) Proclamation GN.
