1. These Regulations may be cited as the Insurance (Amendment) Regulations, 2023 and shall be read together with the Insurance Regulations, 2009 hereinafter referred to as the “principal Regulations”. Amendment of regulation 2

(4) The Commissioner when granting registration under subregulation (3) shall notify the insurer in writing the reason for such decision and the registration shall be- (a) cancelled where the insurer fails to fulfil terms and conditions as determined by the Commissioner; or (b) upgraded to perpetual registration terms and upon fulfilment of conditions for registration.
