§ 1(1) These Regulations may be cited as the WeightsCommencement

1.-(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Weights and Measures (General) (Amendment) Regulations, 2021 and shall be read as one with the Weights and Measures (General) Regulations, 2016 hereinafter referred to as the “principal Regulations”. (2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 6th day of October, 2021. Amendment of Schedule

The amendment sets a metrological supervision fee of Tanzania Shillings seven million for each vessel in the specified bulk oil or fuel offloading or discharging context.

2. The principal Regulations are amended in the Sixth Schedule by deleting subitem (B) appearing in item 3 and substituting for it the following: “(B) metrological supervision fee to terminals for monitoring measurements and inspecting measuring system or instruments during offloading or discharging of bulk oil or fuel from the ship tanker to final receiving tank farms is Tanzania Shillings seven million for each vessel.” Dodoma, 5th October, 2021 KITILA A.
