The Excise (Management and Tariff) (Remission) (5 Motor Vehicles) (Health Strengthening Project Known as "Afya Yangu") (Ministry of Health) Order, 2024

1. This Order may be cited as the Excise (Management and Tariff) (Remission) (5 motor vehicles) (Health Strengthening Project known as “Afya Yangu”) (Ministry of Health) Order, 2024 and shall be deemed to have come in operation on the 10th day of December, 2023.

2. Subject to the conditions specified in paragraph 3, and any other conditions as may be specified by the Commissioner General of Tanzania Revenue Authority, the whole of excise duty payable on the 5 motor vehicles specified in the Schedule to this Order, imported or purchased locally prior to clearance through customs by or on behalf of the Ministry of Health to be used solely in the implementation of Health Strengthening Project known as “Afya Yangu” is hereby remitted. Conditions

3. The remission granted under this Order shall cease to have effect and the excise duty shall become due and payable as if the remission under this Order had not been granted if the said motor vehicles are used for other 1 Excise (Management and Tariff) (Remission) (5 Motor Vehicles) (Health Strengthening Project Known As “Afya Yangu”) (Ministry of Health) GN.
