The Excise (Management and Tariff) (Remission) (Development and Operation of a Modern Industrial Park Infrastructure) (M/S Sino Tan Kibaha Industrial Park Limited) Order, 2024

1. This Order may be cited as the Excise (Management and Tariff) (Remission) (Development and Operation of a modern Industrial Park Infrastructure Project) (M/S Sino Tan Kibaha Industrial Park Limited) Order, 2024 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 25th day August, 2023.

2. Subject to the conditions specified in paragraph 3, and any other conditions as may be specified by the Commissioner General of Tanzania Revenue Authority, the whole of excise duty payable on fuel, lubricants and goods specified in the Schedule to this Order, imported or purchased locally prior to clearance through customs by or on behalf of M/s Sino Tan Kibaha Industrial Park Limited to be used in the development and operation of a modern industrial park infrastructure project is hereby remitted. 1 Excise (Management and Tariff) (Remission) (Development and Operation of A Modern Industrial Park Infrastructure) (M/S Sino Tan Kibaha Industrial Park Limited) GN. 3. The remission granted under this Order shall cease to have effect and the excise duty shall become due and payable as if this Order had not been made if the said fuel, Lubricants and goods are used for other purposes or are transferred, sold or disposed of in any way to another person not entitled to enjoy similar privileges conferred under this Order. 4.
