Fees are charged for goods manufactured, produced, made, or packed in Mainland Tanzania, with amounts set by lot size and product denomination. For charging fees, items over 50g or 50ml but not more than 200g or 200ml are to be treated as a single package of about 1000g or 1000ml for lot-size determination. For imported goods, the fee is 0.2% of FOB or Tanzania shillings 100,000, whichever is higher.

1. For goods manufactured/ produced/made or packed in Mainland Tanzania, fees shall be charged as follows: Category Lot size Sampling Goods manufactured/ produced/made or packed in Mainland Tanzania 0-100 101-500 501-3200 3201 and above 100% 50 80 125 No. of product denomination Each Each Each 1-5 Each 6-10 Each 11 and above, each Fees 30,000/- 100,000/- 200,000/- 300,000/- 200,000/- 100,000/-

2. For purpose of charging fees, all items which are above 50g or 50ml but not exceeding 200g or 200ml, shall be compounded to form single package approximately or equal to 1000g or 1000ml as single package for purpose of determining lot size.
