Vol.101 dated 3rd December, 2021 Printed by the Government Printer, Dodoma by Order of Government GOVERNMENT NOTICE NO. 802 PUBLISHED ON 3.12.2021 THE PRESIDENTIAL AFFAIRS ACT (CAP 9) PROCLAMATION (Made Under Section 4) THE PRESIDENTIAL AFFAIRS (INSTITUTION AND CONFERMENT OF HONOURS, DIGNITIES AND AWARDS WHERE AS SECTION 4 OF THE PRESIDENTIAL AFFAIRS ACT (Cap.9) empowers the President to institute and confer honors, dignities and awards AND WHERE AS: The President is satisfied that it is necessary to institute such honours, dignities and awards upon persons who have, by their meritorious acts or conduct, earned such praise and distinction as to warrant receipt of some form of recognition. NOW THEREFORE, 1, SAMIA SULUHU HASSAN, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Presidential Affairs Act (Cap 9), DO HEREBY confer the honours upon persons whose names and addresses are set out in General Notice No. 2229 of 2021.
