This section gives the short title of the by-laws and says they should be read together with the 2022 Nyang’hwale District Council fees and taxes by-laws. This provision amends the principal subsidiary legislation by replacing specified words wherever they appear. This provision amends rule 8(7) by replacing the words “kifungu hiki” with “kanuni hii”. This provision amends the First Schedule by deleting section 22 in Part III and adding new sections, including a new Part XIV on mixed-crop produce levy. The provision lists local charges and fees, including a 3% rate for certain crop purchases, TSh 102,000 for a one-year purchase permit, TSh 500 for transporting mineral sand or stones in vehicles weighing 1 to 50 kg, and TSh 100,000 per year for karasha or mwalo charges.
