THE SHINYANGA WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION AUTHORITY (SHINYANGA WSSA) TARIFF ADJUSTMENT ORDER,2024

1. This Order shall be cited as the Shinyanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (Shinyanga WSSA) Tariff Adjustment for Water Supply and Sanitation Services Order, 2024.

2. Shinyanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (Shinyanga WSSA) tariffs and fees are adjusted to be used in the service area including Tinde, Didia and Iselamaganzi as specified in the Schedule. Conditions

3. The approved tariffs and fees shall be subject to the following conditions: (a) on or before 30th October 2024, Shinyanga WSSA shall submitto EWURA evidence - (i) (ii) in the form of customer bills to indicate compliance with this Order; and that before the commencement of the application of tariff and fees in this Order, has conducted sufficient awareness to stakeholders including 1 Shinyanga Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (Shinyanga Wssa) Tariff Adjustment Tangazo la Serikali Na.562 (Linaendelea.) of (i) leaders, government and political religious representative Institutions, the and customers general public about the approved tariff adjustment; (b) Shinyanga WSSA shall- comply with levy requirements by remitting collected levies timely; continue to provide EWURA with information about its financial and operating condition in accordance with the requirements of EWURA; and regulatory (ii) (c) the information referred to under paragraph (c) shall be used by EWURA to evaluate Shinyanga WSSA's performance the provision of water supply and sanitation services and the improvement of its services. in Revocation of GN No. 16 of 2019

4.
