These regulations may be cited as the Tourism Accommodation Facility (Amendment) Regulations, 2019 and are to be read together with the Tourism Accommodation Facility, 2015.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Tourism Accommodation Facility (Amendment) Regulations, 2019 and shall be read as one with the Tourism Ac- commodation Facility, 2015 hereinafter referred to as the “principal Regulations.”

2. The principal Regulations are amended in regulation 2 by adding a new definition of the term “e-registration” as follows: “e-registration” means online registration that requires owner of tourism ac- commodation facility to register all sleeping guests in his facility;”

Accommodation facilities must keep entry/account books and use a Director of Tourism e-registration book or system to record guest details.

3. The principal Regulations are amended in regulation 20 by deleting the whole regulation and substituting for it the following: 20(1) Every accommodation facility shall maintain- (a) appropriate books of entry including books of accounts containing num- ber of rooms and occupancy rate; and (b) an e-registration book or system provided by the Director of Tourism that shall be filled with the details of guest’s name, address, date of arrival and departure, purpose of visit, passport details, visa number as well as details of country of residence.
