About this statute
This Notice may be cited as the National Prosecutions Service (Appointment of Public Prosecutors) Notice, 2024. Named persons in the Schedule are appointed as public prosecutors for criminal cases on behalf of the Director of Public Prosecutions. A public prosecutor appointed under paragraph 2 must serve for five years, but may serve for less than five years if the person’s public service employment ends or the appointment is revoked or suspended by the Director of Public Prosecutions. This section contains a list of names, a date, and the Director of Public Prosecutions' signature line.
