1. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax) (Exemption) (Completion of Balance Works for Rehabilitation of the Chalinze Water Treatment Plant, Supply and Installation of Secondary and Tertiary Distribution Network and Construction of Reservoirs (M/S Afcons Infrastructures Limited) Order, 2024 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 26th day of February, 2024. in Chalinze Villages)

2. The expatriates employees tax liability derived by M/S Afcons Infrastructures Limited in the execution of a contract between Dar es Salaam Water Supply and Sanitation Authority and M/S Afcons Infrastructures Limited for Completion of Balance Works for Rehabilitation of the Chalinze Water Treatment Plant, Supply and Installation of Secondary and Tertiary Distribution Network and Construction of Reservoirs in Chalinze Villages amounting to Tanzania Shillings 3,746,138,760.00 in respect of M/S Afcons Infrastructures Limited, is hereby exempted.

3. This Order shall expire after M/S Afcons Infrastructures Limited have been cleared from expatriates’ 1 Income Tax (Exemption) (Expatriate Employees) (Completion of Balance Works For Rehabilitation of The Chalinze Water Treatment Plant, Supply and Installation of Secondary and Tertiary Distribution Network and Construction of Reservoirs in Chalinze Villages) (M/S Afcons Infrastructures Limited GN. No. 304 (Contd) employees tax liability amounting to Tanzania Shillings 3,746,138,760.00 with respect to Contract entered into under paragraph 2.
