The Ministers (Assignment of Ministerial Functions) (Amendment) Notice, 2025

1. This Notice may be cited as the Ministers (Assignment of Ministerial Functions) (Amendment) Notice, 2025 and shall be read as one with the Ministers (Assignment of Ministerial Functions) Notice, 2023, hereinafter referred to as the “principal Notice”. Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The principal Notice is amended in the Second Schedule- (a) in the entry designating the Minister for Culture, Arts and Sports by- (i) deleting the words the words “Minister for Culture, Arts and Sports” appearing in the first column and substituting for them for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports”; “Information” immediately after the words “Policies on” appearing in paragraph (a); the word “Minister (ii) adding 1 Ministers (Assignment of Ministerial Functions) (Amendment) GN. NO.36 (Contd.) (iii) adding immediately after paragraph (a) the following: “(b) Coordination and Regulation of Mass Media;”; (iv) renaming paragraphs (b) to (f) as paragraphs (c) to (g) respectively; (b) in the entry designating the Minister for Information, Communication and Information Technology by- (i) deleting the words “Minister for Information, Communication and Information Technology” appearing in the first column and substituting for them for Information Communication Technology”; the words “Minister and (ii) deleting the word “Information” appearing in paragraph (a); (iii) deleting paragraph (b); and (iv) renaming paragraphs (c) to (i) as paragraphs (b) to (h) respectively.
