About this statute
These Regulations may be cited as the Mining (Mineral and Gem Houses) (Amendment) Regulations, 2024, and they are to be read together with the principal Regulations. The Commission may engage any person to organise a mineral auction. Sellers and invitees who want to take part in a mineral auction must follow Commission requirements: sellers pay a fee or commission, and invitees must register with the Commission. Viewing minerals must be by pre-arranged appointment with the auction organiser, on a first-come first-served basis. This section amends the principal Regulations by deleting regulation 19.
