About this statute
These Regulations may be cited as the Electronic (Amendment) and Postal Communications Regulations, 2025, and are to be read together with the Electronic (Postal) Regulations, 2018. This provision amends regulation 3 by adding a definition of “international courier” and replacing the definition of “postal item” with a new definition covering certain goods delivered through a physical network. This provision amends regulation 14 by adding a tracking and tracing mechanism for postal items and by changing the licence categories to domestic and international. This provision changes regulation 18 by replacing the figure “2017” with “2018”. All postal licensees must submit compensation policies for loss or damage of postal items to the Authority and communicate them to consumers.
